Our next meeting is on January 8th. Join us for an evening with Lynn Hildenbrand, head of Visitor Services for Middlesex/Essex District of Massachusetts State Parks. She will give a presentation on “The Prettiest Places in the Commonwealth.”
The health and happiness of people across Massachusetts depend on the accessibility and quality of our natural resources, recreational facilities, and great historic landscapes. The Department of Conservation and Recreation is steward of one of the largest state parks systems in the country. Its 450,000 acres is made up of forests, parks, greenways, historic sites and landscapes, seashores, lakes, ponds, reservoirs and watersheds.
The audience is welcome to share their experiences in the prettiest places in the Commonwealth and will be offered helpful brochures to plan their next trip.
See you Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at 7PM at First United Methodist Church, 645 Main Street, Melrose!
